KITABOO Live Masterclass
Scaling From One Market to Many How Educational Publishers Should Avoid Operational Collapse
Recorded live at the Knowledge Hub, Hall 4.1, Frankfurter Buchmesse, on 8 October 2026.
For an educational publisher, a second and third market can bring far more than twice or three times the work. On the Knowledge Hub stage, Emma House asks David Taylor, Pranav Gupta and Subrat Mohanty what publishers consistently get wrong when they cross borders, and what digital delivery has to do with it.

The conversation
Excellent content still needs a way to travel.
Pranav Gupta opens with an uncomfortable observation: publishers often spend years building excellent content and surprisingly little time building the systems that let it travel. The ability to publish, he says, is not the ability to scale.
From there each panelist takes a part of the problem. Pranav covers digital readiness and rights, drawing on his work with the Federation of Indian Publishers and the International Publishers Association. David Taylor explains how print on demand changed what it costs to put a book into a market. Subrat Mohanty describes the delivery infrastructure that lets one operation serve many markets.
